Another month, another quarter, and another successful showing from Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz September sales totaled 27,315 units between the Mercedes, Sprinter, and smart brands, marking the best September in company history.

Furthermore, the strong September showing brought year-to-date totals to 233,211 units, an 8.4% increase and good enough for yet another record quarter.

“With three record sales quarters under our belt, we’re racing toward another banner year in step with the strong momentum of the market,” said Stephen Cannon, president and CEO of MBUSA. “From gateway models like our all-new GLA compact SUV to the new flagship S-Class Coupe, the breadth of our product portfolio will keep us at the top of our game.”

The CLS-Class four-door coupe also came through with a 21.4% year-over-year sales increase. The S-Class moved 1,909 units in September, good for a massive 393.3% increase.

Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales were up 30.1% with 8,647 deliveries.
