Michigan Resident Records Video of a Calf in the Back of a Jeep
Why did the cow ride in the Jeep? To get to the “udder” side!

Few images are more iconic to pet-owners than that of a dog eagerly jumping into a car. Many drivers love to bring their four-legged friends along for the ride. However, dogs aren’t the only animals that you might see out on the road. Evidently, that list of creatures ranges from the canines to the bovines.
Recently, Kimm McDowell of Wayland, Michigan, caught a glimpse of a calf riding in the back of a Jeep.
McDowell was running errands earlier this week when she approached the cattle-loading Jeep in front of her. When she first saw the creature, McDowell thought that the infant calf may have been a large dog.
“I thought it was a giant Great Dane,” McDowell told reporters. “It was so big and it was colored like a Great Dane. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s a really big dog.'”

Of course, upon a closer look, the Wayland resident recognized the creature for what it really was. She proceeded to record a video of the Jeep in front of her with the calf in the back. The video was then uploaded to McDowell’s Facebook page, where it has been viewed by more than 500,000 people and shared by more than 6,700 people.

In the video, McDowell speculates that the driver may have been transporting the calf to a livestock sale in the immediate area.
Before anyone “throws a cow,” McDowell emphasized that she had no “beef” with the driver or anyone in the rural town of Wayland.
“I just thought it was funny,” McDowell said.
If you aren’t a big fan of cattle on the “MOO”-ve, then you may want to “steer” clear of Wayland, Michigan.
