2016 Mitsubishi Outlander

The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander has increased in sales for 11 months in a row

Though winter weather has been sweeping the nation, causing entire cities to shut down, Mitsubishi January crossover sales have stayed hot. The Japanese carmaker recently announced its January sales numbers, and we have to say—we’re impressed.

While the brand’s January 2016 sales were slightly down by 3.5% compared to last year, individual vehicles’ sales have absolutely skyrocketed. The Mitsubishi Outlander led the carmaker’s sales numbers with its best January since 2007, boasting total sales of 1,543 vehicles. This is a 53.8% compared to 2015’s January Outlander sales, which only stood at 1,003.

Thanks to the Mitsubishi Outlander’s sales increase, this is the 11th month in a row that the popular crossover has seen a sales growth. This is mostly in part thanks to the impressive 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, which debuted late last year.

The 2016 Outlander boasts over 100 improvements, including changes to its exterior and interior design; powertrain options; and attractive pricing. For a low MSRP of $22,995, the Outlander is truly Mitsubishi’s most advanced crossover yet. It has even been named an Insurance Institute for Highway (IIHS) Safety Top Safety Pick+, which is the safety organizations highest rating.

As the 2016 year continues, it’s likely we will see a lot more improvement from Mitsubishi’s sales.
