Mitsubishi Names Award-Winning Food Writer Next Brand Ambassador
April seems to be the month for Mitsubishi Motors in the United Kingdom to name its newest Brand Ambassadors. After announcing earlier this week that TV presenter Konnie Huq is the brand’s latest Brand Ambassador, the Japanese carmaker has made yet another announcement concerning the position—and this time, an award-winning food writer will fill it.
Charlotte Pike, who is currently writing her fifth cookbook and is also known for her numerous appearances on television programs, is Mitsubishi’s latest Brand Ambassador.

Like Konnie Huq, Charlotte recently picked up the keys to her new Outlander Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) at her local Melksham Mitsubishi dealership, which currently has a five-star rating for customer service with 100% of customers recommending them.
“The environmental impact of driving is something I really care about, so the Outlander PHEV is the perfect car for me,” said Pike. “It’s a win-win for me because not only is it green, but it’s exceptionally economical to run.”
She added: “I’m delighted to join Mitsubishi as a Brand Ambassador. The Outlander is ideal for my lifestyle, in both work and play. It’s got plenty of space, it’s comfortable on long journeys and living in the country, where we have been flooded a few times, it’s great to know that I’ve got a 4×4 that can cope, whatever the weather.”

Mitsubishi is currently the fastest-growing mainstream car manufacturer in the United Kingdom—and it has been for three years. Because of this, it is the perfect time for Charlotte to join as the brand ambassador. As a food writer that focuses on students’ eating habits, Charlotte has significant influence over the up-and-coming car buyers in the United Kingdom. This makes her a perfect fit for the brand.
