Mitsubishi Targets UK Upper Class with Luxury Outlander PHEV
Mitsubishi is offering a greener alternative to Land Rovers in the UK with the luxurious Outlander PHEV.
The Outlander PHEV can go up to 32.5 miles on electric power alone, and emissions are so low that there is no Vehicle Excise Duty tax to operate it.
At the top of the trim level list sits the PHEV GX4hs that starts at £44,999 (£34,999 after you discount the available government grants) and offers several luxury features and advanced safety technology. Seats are decked out with heated Nappa leather and the dash offers a choice of colors. The trim also offers a 7 speaker 420W Alpine sound system and rear USB charging ports. The PHEV GX4hs actively protects its occupants with Brake Assist, Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, and many more active monitoring technologies.

Drivers in the United Kingdom benefit from a £5,000 Plug-in Car Grant from the government that reduces the total cost of the vehicle. This grant also applies to businesses and is enhanced to a maximum of £8,000 total, so the Outlander PHEV should be a great choice for commercial applications.
