Mitsubishi Updates ASX Lineup for Malaysian Market
The Mitsubishi family is expanding—in Malaysia. The Japanese carmaker recently announced a newly updated lineup for its popular ASX lineup, a group of compact SUVs that offer everything from practicality to technology.
More Style, Better Fuel Efficiency: The Outlander PHEV design gets a big facelift
While Mitsubishi has yet to offer the ASX lineup in the United States, these updates bode well for the crossover’s popularity. The compact SUV will come with daytime running lights and a shark fin antenna. It will also have a new Sporty Blue exterior color, leather seats, automatic air conditioning, and a color multi-information display. For entertainment, consumers get a touchscreen that comes standard on two-wheel- and four-wheel-drive variants. Bluetooth®, a USB port, navigation, and a redesigned center console also offers Malyasian consumers a touch of class.

Powered by a 2.0-liter engine, which is paired with a CVT that also has Sports Mode, the Mitsubishi ASX would be a huge hit in the American market. There is even an all-new entry-level variant, which lowers the starting price significantly.
The newly updated ASX lineup will start at 105,000 Malaysian Ringgit, which is the equivalent of about $24,416. Hopefully, the American market will get a taste of this compact SUV, especially as the segment continues to grow with the arrival of the Honda HR-V and Chevrolet Trax.
