NASCAR Driver Clint Bowyer Could Be Unemployed After The 2015 Season Is Finished
NASCAR fans may no longer be seeing Clint Bowyer compete in the Sprint Cup Series

Clint Bowyer is a very talented racecar driver. He’s won eight races in his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career and even beat Duck Dynasty star Will Robertson in a race between two camouflaged limousines, but even with all that talent, Bowyer could be without a ride in NASCAR’s premier series for the 2016 season.
The team that Bowyer drives for, Micheal Waltrip Racing, will close down after the 2015 season is finished. Team owner Rob Kauffman said it no longer made sense–from a business standpoint–to invest so much money into a team that wasn’t winning. Bowyer has not won a race since the 2012 season, which is the same year he finished runner-up to Brad Keselowski for the Sprint Cup Series championship.
Bowyer had signed a three-year contract extension with Micheal Waltrip Racing in 2014.
Bowyer is not the only driver changing rides for the 2016 season. Earlier this month, Danica Patrick announced she will no longer be driving the GoDaddy stock car after the 2015 season comes to a close and instead will be driving a blue and white racecar sponsored by Nature’s Bakery. Points leader and 2014 Sprint Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick will be switching from the No. 4 Budweiser car, to a newly branded No. 4 Busch racecar.
The 36-year-old Bowyer is 16th in the point standings, as of August 28th, and his best finish this season was a 3rd place effort at Sonoma Raceway, which happened back on June 28th.
