National Corvette Museum Welcomes 3 Millionth Visitor
We’ve been hearing a lot about the National Corvette Museum this year, and that’s mostly because a tragedy (turned profit?) occurred back in February: a giant sinkhole opened up inside the museum and swallowed eight important Corvettes. But now the museum is reporting much more positive news. Just recently, the National Corvette Museum ushered in its 3 millionth visitor.
The lucky guy, Brandon from Nashville, and his friend, Amy, had planned to visit the museum the week before, but when Brandon unexpectedly had to go into work, their plans were pushed back. Fortunately, this was one of those rare—maybe only—times that cancelling plans to go into work was actually exciting, as it led to all kinds of swag for Brandon.
Included in his prizes were a one-year membership to the museum, gift certificates out the wazoo to the National Corvette Museum store, and, the most important part to a true ‘Vette fan, a “Flint Brick” from the very first GM Assembly Plant to manufacture the 1953 Corvette.
Check out Brandon’s and Amy’s reactions when they are told the good news in the video below:
