According to Wikitravel, Yellow Checker Cab Taxi (843-606-1000) and Ocean Checker Taxi Cab (843-606-1001) serve the whole of Myrtle Beach. For those needing taxi service on the North Strand, there’s Absolute Taxi (843-333-3333), Yellow Cab of North Myrtle Beach (843-420-1200), and North Myrtle Beach Taxi Cab (843-421-3662).

The best routes into North Myrtle Beach are Highways 9, 22, and 501 (west), and Kings Highway from north or south.

Carolina Bays Parkway (S.C. 31) will take you along a scenic route from 9 to 501.
