2018 Lincoln Navigator and Continental Among J.D. Power's Highest-Ranked Vehicles

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator and Continental

According to J.D. Power, two Lincoln Motor Company vehicles are among the highest-rated vehicles for the 2018 model year. The 2018 Lincoln Navigator, which has been racking up monstrous sales all throughout the year, and the 2018 Lincoln Continental were named among the six highest-rated vehicles for the year, topping the likes of the Porsche Cayenne and BMW 7 Series.

To determine the vehicles with the highest overall ratings, J.D. Power creates a 100-Point Score that takes into account factors like depreciation and customer feedback with respect to quality and performance. The Continental tied for third overall at 92 points, and the Navigator was right behind it with a score of 91.

Lincoln’s Hottest New Vehicle: The 2018 Lincoln Navigator outclasses the competition

“Our engineering and manufacturing teams have done a phenomenal job of delivering the highest levels of quality in our new Navigator and Continental,” said Robert Parker, director, Lincoln Marketing, Sales, and Service. “For over 100 years, Lincoln has strived to deliver the highest levels of precision and quality in our vehicles. It is so encouraging to see Lincoln perform so well in important surveys like J.D. Power.”

2018 has proven to be a banner year for the all-new Navigator. Not only has it consistently delivered in terms of sales volume, but it also delivers in terms of average transaction prices thanks to the popularity of its high-end Reserve and Black Label trims. The Navigator is also well-rewarded, earning the 2018 North American Truck of the Year award and becoming the first American vehicle to earn the highest score in J.D. Power’s Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout study.
