NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal Hilariously Goes Undercover as a Lyft Driver
Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many talents. Besides playing 19 years in the NBA, Shaq has also starred in multiple movies, released one rap album that’s been certified platinum by the RIAA, and also works as an undercover Lyft driver when he isn’t too busy broadcasting NBA games.

O’Neal recently went undercover in Atlanta with a Chevy Suburban and gave himself the nickname “The Big Glowstache.” The video of this event was published on Lyft’s YouTube channel on June 1st. It has already been viewed more than 2 million times.
In the video, which is nearly four minutes, O’Neal wore a number of different disguises and went by various aliases, including a biker named “Goose.” In addition, O’Neal posed as Frenchmen by the name “Pierre,” but when his female passenger, Angela, greeted him in what should have been his native language, the NBA legend looked at her with a blank expression and then said, “Speak no French.”
Also, while Shaq was known for being one of the most dominant players in NBA history, he was famous for his below average free throw shooting skills, but that didn’t stop him from giving free throw advice to another passenger who said she didn’t know much about basketball. After making her go through the motions of shooting ten practice shots, he joking said she “just learned from the greatest free throw shooting coach of all time.”
While one passenger did indeed ask if he was Shaquille O’Neal, most of the other passengers shown in the video somehow didn’t recognize the 15-time NBA All-Star.
O’Neal revealed his true identity after each ride was completed, and then posed for pictures with the excited passengers.
