As the ad demonstrates, the Malibu received the J.D. Power Initial Quality award this year for the Midsize Car segment, arguably one of the most crucial vehicle segments in the American marketplace. And if safety is a concern, drivers can rest easy with the knowledge that not only did the government driving agency, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, award the Malibu a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Safety Score, but the independent organization, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, also gave the Malibu its top honors, a Top Safety Pick+ designation.
