Chevy is searching for some intrepid young reporters to send to Major League Baseball’s biggest event of the year

Chevrolet currently serves as the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball. That sponsorship involves more than simply placing models for display at baseball stadiums nationwide or rewarding MVPs with brand-new vehicles.

Chevy also serves as the Official Automotive Sponsor of the PLAY BALL initiative, which inspires young people across the country to participate in baseball-related activities. For its latest PLAY Ball initiative, Chevrolet is also looking for children interested in reporting.

Chevrolet is currently searching for two young sports reporters to interview players at the 2018 MLB All-Star Game.

Chevy’s Partnership with the MLB: Chevrolet rewards the Chicago Cubs

Chevy’s PLAY BALL Reporter National Search competition is looking for a pair of aspiring investigative sports reporters between the ages of 8 and 14. These kids should have a passion and knowledge for both baseball and journalism.

To qualify for the competition, entrants must submit a 30-60 second video that showcases their on-camera reporting skills and baseball expertise. These intrepid baseball fans should draft a series of hypothetical interview questions to ask Major League Baseball stars.

From the pool of submitted entries, Chevrolet will select two winners. The prize for each winner is a trip for four to Washington, D.C., where the Midsummer Classic 2018 MLB All-Star Game is set to be held during July. There, both of these young reporters will have the chance to interview various players and coaches during the game.

Submissions are due by May 31, leaving young fans with just two weeks to enter their videos into the competition. Those interested can enter the competition at this website: www.chevybaseball.com.
