New Co-Chair of Chevrolet Dealer Council Elected
Brad Sowers, the co-owner, CEO, and general manager of the Jim Butler Auto Group, has been elected to a three-year term as co-chair of the Chevrolet Dealer Council.
Sowers joins co-chairman and US Vice President of Chevrolet Brian Sweeney in chairing the Chevrolet Dealer Council, which represents the approximately 3,000 Chevrolet dealers that operate in the United States.
Sowers is also a representative for Chevy on the General Motor’s Dealer Executive Board, which works with GM’s senior executives on sales, service, and marketing issues.
Sowers began his career with a variety of executive positions at various tech companies, including the information and communications technology company Interphase, where he worked held the title vice president of global sales.
After a decade in the technology sector, the Indianapolis-native entered the world of cars in 2003 by joining the St. Louis-based Jim Butler Auto Group. The Jim Butler Auto Group comprises multiple Chevrolet and Kia dealerships and service centers, luxury car sales, used vehicle sales, and several related businesses.
