The North American International Auto Show will kick off in Motor City on Monday, but the campaign to build anticipation begins in earnest now. In an effort to get automotive enthusiasts hyped for its presence at the NAIAS, Chevrolet has released new details, photos, and a teaser video (below) revealing more about the upcoming Chevy display at Detroit Auto Show.

Promising that the brand will be “putting the show back in North American International Auto Show” this year (wait, was the “show” part missing from it last year and none of us noticed?!?), Chevrolet has revealed that it will have an all-new display at the 2015 NAIAS. The exhibit will feature six 20-foot tall, transparent screens with coordinated LED lighting and music, that will be used to “tell stories about the brand’s cars, trucks and crossovers.”

The stories will focus on nine different “chapters” of Chevy, highlighting the brand’s “dependability, performance, belief in the power of play, available in-vehicle Wi-Fi technology with OnStar 4G LTE, and others.”

“We’ve reimagined the auto show by putting the show back at the center with state-of-the-art technology,” said Tim Mahoney, Global Chevrolet’s chief marketing officer. “The display is designed to connect with attendees and show how the brand continues to Find New Roads.”

The display’s center aisle (dubbed “Main Street”) will feature the latest Chevy Corvette Z06, Trax, and Colorado. The road leads attendees to the Chevrolet Theater, which features a ginormous 73-foot long, 20-foot tall, high-res display, and the automaker’s latest introduction, the 2016 Chevy Volt (which was already spotted at this week’s CES in Las Vegas).

There will also be a safety experience in the theater that shows how Chevy vehicles are designed, next to a virtual reality technology display that enables drivers to “experience” crash avoidance technology.
