The director of this new Fiat commercial used clever camera work to express the spaciousness of the 500x

Fiat’s new “Room with a View” commercial will have viewers rewinding it for a second look

There’s a new commercial for the Fiat 500x crossover that uses witty camera work to make the CUV appear much larger than it actually is in real life.

While the 2016 Fiat 500x does offer seating for up to five people and provides more legroom than the 500 hatchback model, the 500x in this commercial is so spacious that it can fit an entire house just in the cargo space behind its rear seats.

This scenario may sound like a scene from Honey I Blew Up the Kid, that is until you watch the commercial for yourself and realize the creativity displayed in the new spot.

The commercial begins with a shiny red Fiat 500x pulling into the driveway of what looks to be a lovely house, but as the driver approaches the home, he keeps getting bigger and bigger, while the house continues to diminish in size. When the man finally reaches the home, he simply picks it up and then a female passenger quickly jumps out to open up the trunk, so he can put the tiny home inside the Fiat crossover.

The couple appeared to be in a huge rush and comments left on Fiat’s official YouTube page insinuated the twosome were stealing the home, but we hope the toy house was maybe just a birthday present for a beloved family member, which they just so happened to leave sitting on a suburban curve.

The 2016 Fiat 500x has previously been featured in a commercial starring comedian Ben Stiller and the 500x was also named a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
