A teaser for the new Ford Everest

November is typically a month filled to the brim with new debuts, thanks largely to SEMA, LA, and Guangzhou. Ford is taking the somewhat unconventional route with the reveal of the new Ford Everest, opting instead to…just show it off on November 13th.

Don’t believe us? Well, here’s a teaser video that’s got the date and everything. Mama didn’t raise no liar, now.

You’re invited to follow the coverage of the new Ford Everest over at its Facebook page, but it’s…well, we’ll call it somewhat sparsely maintained.

We can surmise that it will bear a strong resemblance to the Everest Concept, and it’s anticipated that the production model will share a platform with the Ford Ranger as well as its 2.2-liter and 3.2-liter turbodiesel powertrain options. As such, it will likely be built at the same Thailand production plant that is responsible for Ranger manufacturing.

Also anticipated: the new Ford Everest won’t likely be leaving the Asia Pacific region any time soon, which might explain the somewhat muted debut.

In any case, the Everest is set to bow on Thursday, and we’ll have the goods when it does.
