There are plenty of reasons for current and prospective Ford customers in Europe to consider purchasing a new Kuga crossover. The new Ford Kuga is available with the latest-generation Ford SYNC 3, which the automaker says has been refined with the help of more than 22,000 comments from customers around the globe. SYNC 3 is easily navigable with an eight-inch touchscreen display, and its voice commands have been tweaked to understand more conversational tone and five additional languages.

SYNC 3 also offers SYNC AppLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and over-the-air Wi-Fi updating.

“Whether you are craving your morning cappuccino on your daily commute or covering the cost of a journey by transporting a package, SYNC 3 brings to life innovative new ways of staying connected on the move,” said Christof Kellerwessel, chief engineer, Electronic and Electrical Systems Engineering, Ford of Europe. “Designed to complement modern smartphones, with an intuitive 8‑inch touch screen, SYNC 3 understands more natural speech, is faster, and offers an easier-to-read graphical interface.”

The new Kuga is also technologically advanced in terms of safety, featuring Perpendicular Parking functionality with Active Park Assist that helps drivers parallel park more efficiently, and Park-Out Assist and Cross Traffic Alert, which help drivers exit their spaces safely. Other safety technologies include Active City Stop collision avoidance, Ford MyKey technology for younger drivers, and new headlamps with LED daytime running lights and fog lamps for better visibility.
