The Ram Truck brand’s newest advertising campaign highlights the need to fight hunger in America

The Ram Truck brand is once again using its advertising to bring awareness to the hunger in this country. In a new campaign celebrating the outdoor lifestyle many Ram owners lead, the American truckmaker is also highlighting the work of Farmers and Hunters Feed the Hungry (FHFH), which is an organization that allows hunters to donate a portion of their hunt to the less fortunate.

In a combination of television, print, digital, and social media campaigns advertising the 2016 Ram 1500 and other trucks in the brand’s lineup, Ram asks hunters to assist with hunger issues in their communities. The ads all carry the hashtag #RamHuntsHunger, directing viewers to RamTrucks.com/outdoorsman to learn more. Ram is running the television commercials during programming that has a heavy outdoorsman audience, including Ridge Reaper and Ducks Unlimited. The print ads will run in magazines like Field & Stream and American Hunter, which target the same demographic.

Through the #RamHuntsHunger initiative, the truckmaker hopes to remind people to help those in their local community that are battling hunger. Over 49 million Americans struggle to put food on the table and everyone has the ability to help those that do so. FHFH includes a variety of food banks, allowing hunters from around the nation to donate their harvests to those who need it most.

This isn’t the first time Ram has brought awareness to hunger issues in America. It has also done so with its Year of the Farmer initiative, including the “Farmer” Super Bowl commercial during the 2013 Super Bowl.
