Ninja Jump Nissan

There have been many stories in recent years on the news about how best to protect your vehicle when at a gas station from countless evils, from credit card skimmers to spiders. If a thief manages to get behind the wheel of your car to start driving away, you have to take quick action to protect your vehicle. One driver in Australia is giving us all something to aspire to as he stopped a crook in his tracks and saved his ride.

The car in question, a white sports car that Jalopnik suspects is a Nissan 240SX (S15), was parked at a gas station in Darwin while the owner went inside to pay for the gas. Out of the shadows emerged a crook, who ran toward the car and started to drive away. To stop the criminal, the owner pulled off an amazing jump that can only be described as ninja, landing with both feet in the passenger side window.

Check out the jump caught on CCTV, and remember that Australians drive on the left side of the road, hence why the thief got in on the right side of the car.

After the thief ran away, he was apprehended when he stole another car (whose owner did not have cat-like reflexes). When you’re planning your workout regimen, consider working on your jumping skills so you’re ready to defend your vehicle. Of course, you could always give a gas delivery service a try instead.
