2017 Rogue Sport Media ContestWhen an automaker launches a new vehicle, it has to work hard to drum up enthusiasm for it. Since many consumers turn to social media sites to learn more about the cars they are thinking about driving, Nissan brought together more than 120 of the best media companies from Canada and the United States to introduce them to the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport.

Invited members of the media* came together in Nashville, Tennessee to take the Rogue Sport out for a test drive in the city. This was reportedly the first time that the press has been able to drive the new SUV, which is the American version of Europe’s bestselling Qashqai model. The automaker encouraged the journalists to document their experience with the Rogue Sport using the #RogueSport hashtag on social media. The best photos were then recognized by the automaker after the event, turning it all into a friendly competition.

While many of the photographers used their time with the car to capture its curves and features, several photographers used the experience to highlight the connection between the Rogue Sport and its adopted Nashville home. Our favorite has to be the one of a red version of the crossover parked in front of a garage door painted with the flag of Tennessee and bearing the banner of Nashville’s NHL team, the Predators, who are currently advancing in the playoffs.

Believe in #RogueSport
