NISMO fans at this year’s Nissan NISMO Fiesta

Eight Nissan gearheads hit the road for a two-day, 920-mile trip to the Nissan NISMO Fiesta in San Marcos, Texas. Why? Because why not. When you own a Nissan and are heading toward a Nissan event, every road trip can become an unforgettable experience.

“We are car enthusiasts ourselves—so much so that we wanted to drive 1,000 miles in the cars that we promote,” said Max Moosman, Nissan Social Media.

Nissan NISMO Fiesta is one of the largest grassroots Nissan owners’ festivals in the U.S. This year, it held more than 500 cars and 1,500 owners and enthusiasts from around the nation. According to Miles Hall, a Nissan NISMO Fiesta event organizer, attendance has consistently doubled each year since the event’s inception.

Hundreds come every year to enjoy the upbeat atmosphere and share their passion for Nissans with others. Fans also come to participate in some of the fiesta’s unique activities, like a track day at the Harris Hill Raceway where they were able to push their cars to the limit, and a car show at the San Marcos Airfield where they could check out the 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO for the first time.

We’re marking our calendars for next year’s event!
