Texas LEAF drivers can experience “No Charge to Charge”

A press release from Nissan touts the “No Charge to Charge” program as an innovative charging plan aimed at making its fastest-growing EV market even stronger.  Nissan describes the promotion as follows: “Beginning in October, customers who lease or purchase a new Nissan LEAF in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston markets will receive one year of complimentary access to eVgo’s comprehensive Freedom Station ® charging network, including 23 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and 17 in the greater Houston area. Also, included as part of the eVgo network, is charging at Park N’ Fly locations at DFW and IAH airports.”

Nissan’s Texas EV sales have been impressive to say the least, particularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  LEAF deliveries are up 500 percent over 2012 in Dallas-Fort Worth thanks in large part to a sturdy eVgo infrastructure and word-of-mouth referrals.

The 2013 Nissan LEAF starts at prices as low as $21,300 before potential federal tax savings and boast an impressive range of 129 MPGe city/102 MPGe highway.  With a vast array of technologically advanced available features such as Nissan Intelligent Key, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, and CARWINGS, the LEAF is a forward thinking vehicle for forward thinking drivers; with the “No Charge to Charge” promotion, Texas buyers looking to try the Nissan LEAF are faced with something approaching a no-brainer.
