2016 Nissan Murano

Summer is over, which means it’s time for 2017 models to roll onto dealership lots. One of the models arriving now nationwide is the 2017 Nissan Murano. With four trims offered in FWD or AWD, it’s a very versatile SUV that’s ready to take on busy lifestyles, family life, road trips, and whatever you decide to throw at it.

If you’re looking to take one of these vehicles home, you should know that the base model, the Murano S FWD, has a starting price tag of $29,740 MSRP. If you want the AWD version of the same trim, its starting price is $31,340 MSRP.

For the 2017 model year, the Murano is mainly getting slight technology upgrades. This vehicle was redesigned fairly recently, so it really doesn’t need anything else. Apple CarPlay is being added, and Nissan’s Driver Attention Alert (DAA) system will be available on more trim levels than before. The DAA system is a great safety tool, as it learns how a particular driver steers. Once it has done that, the vehicle can detect if a driver is drowsy based on how they are navigating the roadways and suggest they stop for a rest. This system will work in partnership with the also-available Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, and Forward Emergency Braking to keep passengers and drivers safer than ever.

If you happen to be shopping for a new SUV, we encourage you to consider the 2017 Nissan Murano. It was one of the first Nissan vehicles to receive the updated “Nissan Look,” with the chrome V badge on its grille and bolder lines and design than the previous generation.
