Nissan Rogue Earns 2019 Best Buy Award from Consumer Guide Automotive

The Nissan Rogue continues its five-year running streak as the Best Buy Award winner in the category of Compact Crossover/SUV Class. Honored by the editors at Consumer Guide Automotive, the 2019 Nissan Rogue impressed with its value, model updates and advanced safety features.

The 2019 Nissan Rogue is available at five trim levels: S, SV, SV Hybrid, SL, and SL Hybrid. The S, SV, and SL trims are equipped with a 170 horsepower-rated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an Xtronic CVT® with Sport Mode Shifter to put out 175 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid models — the SV Hybrid and SL Hybrid — feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor with lithium battery. This powertrain also features the Xtronic CVT® with Sport Mode Shifter but generates more horsepower — 176 net horsepower — and 144 lb-ft of torque.

For 2019, the Rogue is one of the first models presented by Nissan to feature the automaker’s most advanced suite of safety features. Standard on the SV and SL trims, Nissan Safety Shield 360 is made up of six active driver-assist technologies — Rear Automatic Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, and High Beam Assist. In addition, all trims of the 2019 Rogue will feature Nissan’s Rear Door Alert system.

Connectivity isn’t a problem in the 2019 Rogue as it features the NissanConnect® 7-inch touch-screen display complete with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, and Bluetooth® streaming audio as standard features. The standard Bluetooth® hands-free phone system and hands-free text messaging assistant keeps your hand on the wheel while you’re trying to stay connected on the road.
