Nashville_Soccer_Club_Nissan_JerseysNissan has its North American headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, and the company is committed to helping the area succeed. If you head to see the Tennessee Titans play football in Nashville, you will be heading to Nissan Stadium. If you instead decide to watch a Nashville Predators hockey game at Bridgestone Arena, you will be surrounded by banners for each of the vehicles in the Nissan lineup and a Nissan Titan XD decorated with Predator colors. Now Nissan is throwing its support behind the Nashville Soccer Club.

Not only is Nissan supporting this new team in the Nashville area, it is its founding partner and first jersey sponsor. This means that the Nashville Soccer Club’s yellow and navy jerseys will bear the Nissan name across the chest. This is not Nissan’s first time partnering with a soccer team, either, as the brand is a sponsor of England’s Premier League Manchester City team, the Mexican National Team, and the UEFA Champions League.

“Nissan is the perfect fit for our first jersey sponsor. The company is a pillar of the Middle Tennessee community and an iconic, global brand recognized for its commitment to the game of soccer.” said Court Jeske, CEO of Nashville Soccer Club. “Nissan’s reputation as an innovative, global brand is one we aspire to build at this club. We look forward to working together to grow the sport while engaging the community.”

The Nashville Soccer Club will be ready to take the field in 2018 as part of the United Soccer League, and we will keep our eye on the team for future Nissan-related developments.
