Nissan Rogue Toy Drive

We all see the festive barrels and boxes around town, collecting gifts for the Toys for Tots program. If you’re not ready to fight the toy store crowds this year to find the perfect gift for a child in need, Nissan has given fans around the country a new way to help. While the program is run by Nissan, it is contributing to the Star Wars: Force For Change initiative to help children around the world.

If you want to help out, visit Nissan’s Rogue Toy Drive Amazon Wishlist, full of Star Wars merchandise, here. For every toy purchase, Nissan will add additional gifts (up to $150,000 in cash and/or toys) to the pile to fill Nissan Rogues with toys to deliver to Toys for Tots before they are distributed on December 22nd.

When the team at The News Wheel checked out the toy list on Amazon, we saw that there were many toys that needed to be purchased, from action figures, to Pop Vinyl figurines, to Lego sets. There was something there for almost every age group, and the toys represented both the newer movies and the classics in the Star Wars franchise.

Nissan’s alliance with Lucasfilm and Star Wars reminds us that everybody has the choice to be a hero, and the holidays are a time when many children can benefit from the generosity of everyday heroes,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications & Media, Nissan North America, Inc. “This toy drive is a way of bringing the magic and excitement of Star Wars to kids, so that they may experience the joy of Christmas and a message of hope.”

Instead of buying an off-brand or clearance toy to add to the barrels, consider giving back this holiday season by buying the gifts kids actually want to receive.
