Nissan, Tennessee Titans Partner Up to Help Wounded Warriors
Back on June 25th, Nissan North America and the Tennessee Titans quit flirting and just decided to get together already. To celebrate this new partnership, the Titans rebranded Nashville’s downtown stadium as Nissan Stadium.
The Titans even gave Nissan a special “parking space” for a new 2016 Titan XD, because if there’s one thing the Tennessee Titans like better than financial partners, it’s puns.

And now, Nissan and the Titans have decided to do something special together: support the Wounded Warrior Project. Nissan is already the Wounded Warriors Project’s automotive partner (since June), and has already gotten its own Titan, the pickup truck, involved by filming the “Project Titan” adventure, in which two injured veterans drove a custom Nissan Titan through the Alaskan wilderness.
However, the Tennessee Titans do not seem to be letting Nissan and the other Titan have all the fun. As part of a special event during the upcoming Titans/Rams game (August 30th) and a part of the partnership agreement with Nissan, the Titans Foundation will make a $25,000 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
This charitable donation will be one of a series given to area non-profit organizations over the next 20 years.
