Nissan Titan Drives Away from Rodeo with Award
The 2018 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition has been deemed a winner by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). Awarded the “Full-size Truck of Texas” for two years running, the Nissan Titan is available in five trims—S, SV, PRO-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve.

“For the third year in a row, TAWA journalists have recognized the new TITAN’s tremendous value that sets the benchmark,” said Nic Phillips, president of TAWA. “The standard V8 engine and longest bumper-to-bumper warranty adds up to a package that should be on every Texan’s short list.”
According to Nissan, the 2018 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition’s exterior is distinct on the Crew Cab SL and SV trims (4×4 and 4×2 models) with available features such as: black fog light finishers, body color front grille with dark insert, exclusive dark headlights, black exterior badging, 20-inch black painted aluminum-alloy wheels, Midnight Edition floor mats, and black outside door handles and rearview mirrors. The 2018 Nissan Titan XD Midnight Edition Crew Cab SL and SV (grade 4×4) features black fender louvers and is powered by an impressive Cummins® 5.0-liter V8 turbo diesel engine.
The Texas Truck Rodeo is a featured event for respected automotive journalists as an opportunity to evaluate how select vehicles handle off- and on-road challenges. The rodeo is set at Dripping Springs, Texas, at the Longhorn River Ranch, which spans 1,632 acres.
