Nissan Titan Truckumentary Coming, Featuring 2016 Titan
Nissan is planning to reveal the next-generation Titan pickup at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (and likely with a powerful Cummins turbodiesel option), and it plans on building the anticipation surrounding the 2016 Titan’s eventual reveal with a series of short films that it’s dubbing the Nissan Titan Truckumentary.
The ever-cleverly-titled Truckumentary will launch sometime within the next week and will chronicle not just the development and history of the Titan from the earliest stages, but will look ahead to the future of Nissan’s full-size pickup truck.
The future is coming, and it’s wrapped in camo
“The ‘Truckumentary’ is not meant to be the all-encompassing last word on Titan,” said Miller. “Rather it’s the continuing story of the vehicle’s evolution, accompanied by a close look at the American-based team that is bringing this all-new truck to market.”
The series will cover everything from the Alpha T concept, revealed at the Detroit Auto Show all the way back in 2001, to the men and women who rely on it every day to get the job done.
Nissan says that there will be more than a dozen separate videos released between December and the early going of 2015, likely culminating with the reveal of the 2016 Titan in Detroit.
