Nissan Versa Note Earns Spot on KBB’s 10 Tech-Savviest Cars Under $20,000 List

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note earns a spot on KBB’s 10 Tech-Savviest Cars Under $20,000 list

The Nissan Versa Note recently earned the sixth spot on Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com’s 10 Tech-Savviest Cars Under $20,000. This marks the second year that the Versa Note has landed on the list.

According to Nissan, KBB.com editors enjoyed the Versa Note’s “excellent” Around View Monitor and its abundance of other technologies available to drivers. Among those tech options are Bluetooth and Pandora capability and hands-free texting.

KBB.com, of course, only considers cars under $20,000, but the website does not use the automakers’ MSRPs for vehicles on the market. Instead, KBB uses its own Fair Purchase Price tool to determine what car shoppers are actually spending on a specific vehicle across the country, on average.

“The 2015 Versa Note is a great example of value, technology, style and comfort all rolled into one rock solid vehicle,” remarked Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations. “With an extensive list of technology features, unique exterior and interior styling cues, ample cargo space and much more, the 2015 Note is the full package at a starting price that even the most frugal buyer can appreciate. We’re honored to once again be recognized by Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.”

Though the Versa Note is built on the Versa sedan’s platform, the five-door hatchback is its own vehicle. Some of its defining features include its available active grille shutter, its available NissanConnect, its available Divide-N-Hide adjustable floor for improved cargo space, its “steeply sloped windshield and sculpted body panels,” and its impressive fuel economy, at 40 mpg on the highway.
