Nissan Will Reveal New Lannia at Auto Shanghai 2015
Nissan has announced the arrival of the new Lannia at Auto Shanghai 2015 next week. It will be the first Nissan product that’s been specifically targeted towards young drivers.
Based on the Friend-ME and Lannia concepts from previous auto shows, the Lannia sedan seems to share a lot of design influence with the new Maxima that’s just been revealed in North America. Don’t get the two confused, however, as the Lannia Concept was designed entirely in China for young Chinese drivers who are looking to challenge traditional car design and stand out as individuals. The Friend-ME Concept shown below seems to share its headlight and grille shape with the new Lannia, although the latter will be a midsize sedan rather than a hatchback. Both concepts share the “boomerang” grille shape that has been implemented globally in Nissan’s design language.
The Shanghai Auto Show will run from April 20th to April 29th, hosted by the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The Lannia will be revealed on the first day of the show. Watch the teaser video below:
