October Infiniti Sales Down 1.2%, Q50 and QX60 Sales Grow

2015 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Sport

October Infiniti sales totaled 9,045 units, a 1.2% decline from sales in October 2013. Through the first 10 months of 2014, Infiniti sales are up 4.3% with a running total of 93,925 cars and SUVs sold.

 

The two biggest volume winners for Infiniti were—as per usual—the Infiniti Q50 and the Infiniti QX60. The Q50 contributed 2,964 total sales and a 16% year-over-year increase. The QX60 luxury crossover added 2,285 units and a 5.0% year-over-year increase.

The Infiniti Q70 performance sedan was up 18.2% with total sales of 442 models. Apart from the three aforementioned models, Infiniti’s lineup was down across the board.

 

The G Sedan accounted for 1,258 sales (-14.4% year-over-year), the Q60 totaled 496 sales (-24.5% year-over-year), the QX50 totaled 192 sales (-13.5% year-over-year), the QX70 totaled 358 sales (-38.3% year-over-year), and the QX80 totaled 1,050 sales (-6.0% year-over-year).

Infiniti recently named CP+B its global multimedia marketing agency, which it anticipates will lead to a sales boost not only in America, but also in China. Infiniti has announced that it intends to expand its lineup by as much as 60% over the course of the next five years.
