Honda Aircraft Company delivered the first HondaJet on Dec. 23, 2015.

If you thought those car commercials in which someone gets a brand new Honda for Christmas seemed a bit extravagant, you’ll probably be really jealous to learn that some real-life person actually got a brand new Honda airplane this holiday season.

Though there was no giant bow on top of the vehicle, one lucky customer recently received the very first HondaJet as an early Christmas gift; taking delivery of the world’s most advanced light jet on December 23rd at the Honda Aircraft Company headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This marks the beginning of HondaJet deliveries, with the aircraft now available for purchase from HondaJet dealers in North America, South America, and Europe.

“We are very excited to commence deliveries of the HondaJet, fulfilling Honda’s commitment to advancing human mobility through innovation,” Honda Aircraft Company President and CEO Michimasa Fujino said. “Honda Aircraft has now extended this commitment skyward with the delivery of our first aircraft, and I hope we soon will begin to see many HondaJets at airports around the world.”

The fastest, highest-flying, quietest, and most fuel-efficient jet in its class, the new HondaJet also now holds the distinction of being the fastest Honda available, with a top speed of 483 mph. Honda is also already offering pilot training for HondaJet customers with a Level D flight simulator at the Honda Aircraft Training Center in Greensboro.
