Opel Opens Orders for Vivaro Sport, Starting at €28,800
Opel on Wednesday officially opened up orders for the Vivaro Sport light commercial vehicle. The Opel Vivaro Sport originally bowed at the 2016 IAA for Commercial Vehicles in Hanover, and it is being offered to customers at a starting price of €28,800.
The Opel Vivaro Sport is available as a Combi, van, and double cab, and it is offered in two lengths with up to a 2.9-ton gross vehicle weight. The Vivaro Sport comes standard with silver or black decorative strips running from the roof to the hood and with matching strips along the running boards. To enhance its sporty appearance, the Vivaro Sport is offered with 17-inch aluminum wheels that can be optioned in black, and LED daytime running lights complete the surprisingly smart face.

On the inside, the Vivaro Sport is offered with Navi 50 IntelliLink infotainment, which includes Bluetooth audio streaming and Siri voice command capabilities with a compatible Apple device. For the additional cost of €1,150, the system can be upgrade to the Navi 80 IntelliLink, which provides real-time traffic information and allows drivers to easily navigate around congested areas.
Other features available for the Vivaro Sport include cruise control with speed limiter and Rear Park Assist.
Available packages include the Design Cargo Pack—optional at an additional €1,650 for double cab models—which adds dark-grey side panels, load-restraint lashing eyes, storage compartments, and blue ambient lighting to the cargo area. There is also a Champion Pack, which includes Navi 80 IntellLink, auto climate control (van and double cab models), and the Irmscher Tourer Pack and Design Cargo Pack (double cab models). The Champion Pack can be had for €1,750 for the van, €2,950 for the Combi, and €3,250 for the double cab.
The Vivaro Sport is offered with either the 120-horsepower 1.6 CDTI or the 125-horsepower or 145-horsepower BiTurbo engine.
