Parma Metal Center Sees $14 Million GM Investment
Parma Metal Center in Northeast Ohio will soon see a whole lot of change, thanks to a $14 million General Motors investment. Last week, GM announced that they will be increasing funding to the center to support the installation of a progressive press, which will be used for die tryout and regular parts production.

The press, which is scheduled for installation either later this year or early in 2015, will help Parma produce higher quality products in a more efficient manner, supporting many GM customers across the country.
“People are the foundation of our business. We have a great team, and we all look forward to this opportunity to again prove that we are one team, one goal and world class as we serve the customers who purchase our cars, trucks, and crossovers,” said Parma Plant Manager Al McLaughlin.

The center supports vehicle builds at 13 GM assembly plants in North America and supplied 67 million parts last year.
