Petty’s Garage Mustang GT Limited Run

Petty’s Garage Mustang GT

The Petty’s Garage Mustang GT, a concept that initially premiered at the 2014 SEMA Show, was so popular with enthusiasts that Petty’s Garage opted earlier this year to release a limited production run. The Stage 1 Petty’s Garage Mustang GT was limited to only 100 builds, and the Stage 2 was limited to a Petty-appropriate 43. If you missed your opportunity to scoop one up, and you’d relish the opportunity to get your hands on a Petty’s Garage Mustang GT that is not just unique, but will also help a great cause, then you’re in luck.

Mecum Auctions will be holding their annual Dallas event from September 16-19, and the star vehicle will be a 2015 Petty’s Garage Ford Mustang GT that will cross the block at no reserve. All proceeds raised by the vehicle’s auction will benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America, an organization with whom company namesake and racing legend Richard Petty has worked for the bulk of his career.

The custom Mustang GT will feature everything that makes the Petty’s Garage model so great: Roush TVS 2300 supercharger, Cold air intake, Magnaflow exhaust, signature rear spoiler, Katzkin custom leather interior, custom badging and logos, and the signature Petty Black and Blue color scheme.

Even better, the winner will also have the opportunity to meet the man himself at the auction, which should make it even more appealing for whatever rich dude decides to add this piece to his collection (because it’s almost certainly going to be a rich dude, let’s be honest).
