Phase Two of Project Titan Underway
Nissan has released a new video chronicling the construction of “the Ultimate Nissan Titan” through their Project Titan initiative. Phase two of Project Titan, chronicled in the video below, sees the installation of the bumper, exhaust, and bed utility.
How do you know phase two of Project Titan is awesome? Guitar! There’s lots of guitar at the beginning of the video (including a shot of someone playing guitar, which means triple rock ‘n’ roll points) because they’re completing the second part of construction in Nashville.
According to Scot Cottick, Senior Manager, Social Media, Nissan North America, “Nashville, Tennessee is all about music, barbecue, and their pickup trucks.” To hammer the point home, we also get a picture of delicious rotisserie chickens. Those also rock.
The first aspect added to the dream Titan is an ARB Deluxe Bull Bar Bumper, which won 69.8 percent of the Facebook fan vote and is perfect for plowing through debris and probably zombies. Next comes the Borla® Catback Exhaust, which narrowly took the vote with 35.3 percent and offers improved airflow and performance in addition to a fierce sound. Finally, we get the camper top (42.1 percent of the fan vote) and a few extra goodies: an ARB fridge, dry storage, slide out rack, and a shower. Yes, a shower.
The Ultimate Nissan Titan will also tow a Manley off-road trailer equipped with Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts. Nissan is about two weeks away from sending the Titan, two Wounded Warrior Project alumnis, and outdoor journalist Joe Byers to Alaska for the off-roading experience of a lifetime, so stay tuned for the latest.
