Cadillac recently announced the addition of a distinctive Black Chrome package that’s available for the 2016 ATS coupe and sedan models, as well as the CTS sedan.

Safe Driving: Do you display these warning signs that signify you’re an aggressive driver?

As you might have guessed, the Black Chrome package replaces the original shiny chrome parts of the car with darker chrome. This package also adds “After Midnight” 18-inch alloy wheels and gloss black side window moldings.

The Black Chrome package will only be available for Cadillac ATS Luxury and Performance Collection models that are equipped with either the 2.0-liter turbo or 3.6-liter V6 engine. This package will cost $795 for sedan models and $595 for coupes. Consumers will also have the choice of four exterior color options: Black Raven, Phantom Gray Metallic, Red Obsession Tintcoat, and Crystal White Tricoat.

If you want to add the Black Chrome package to your CTS sedan, then you’ll have to adhere to the same trim level and engine rules that apply to the ATS models. The CTS is available with the same exterior color options as the ATS with the exception of Red Obsession Tricoat. Furthermore, the Black Chrome package costs up to $1,295 for the CTS sedan.

To order this unique new package, you can use the Build Your Own tool that’s on Cadillac’s official site or you could just walk into your local dealership and talk to a salesperson.

The Cadillac CTS has been named one of Car and Driver’s 10Best for the last three years and the ATS earned the distinction of being a Consumer Guide Best Buy for three years straight.
