General Motors has recently announced that a new Carbon Black sport package will be available for both the Cadillac CTS and ATS luxury vehicles for the 2017 model year.

This package will give Cadillac enthusiasts the chance to purchase a CTS or ATS with a more aggressive appearance. In fact, the optional Carbon Black sport package marks the first time that Cadillac has ever offered V-Series models with a Black Chrome grille. In addition, it’s also the first the ATS has been offered with Recaro front seats.

To be more specific, ordering the Carbon Black sport package for the Cadillac ATS or ATS-V means your vehicle will not only come with the aforementioned black chrome grille and Recaro front seats, but will also feature After Midnight dark finish wheels, low-gloss carbon fiber interior trim, body-colored door handles, a V-Series spoiler, and black-finished side window moldings.

For Cadillac CTS Luxury and V-Sport models, ordering the Carbon Black sport package will also add the V-Series spoiler, Black Chrome grille, After Midnight dark finish wheels, and Upgraded performance front seats.

In addition, on CTS-V and ATS-V models, ordering the Carbon Black sport package means that each vehicle will automatically get the Carbon Fiber package, which includes hood vents, rear diffuser, and a more aggressive front splitter. Conversely, the Carbon Fiber package for the CTS-V includes a taller carbon fiber spoiler, which doesn’t come with the ATS-V. On the other hand, the ATS-V with the Carbon Fiber package comes with rocker extension panels that are not featured on the CTS-V.

The 2017 Cadillac ATS and CTS variants are scheduled to go into production later this summer, but Cadillac dealers are already accepting orders for the 2017 models.
