Chevrolet has unveiled two exciting new variants of its popular Colorado midsize pickup truck at the 2017 SEMA Show—the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Midnight Edition and 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Dusk Edition. Apart from setting up the super obvious marketing pun about Chevy Trucks being great from dusk ‘til dawn, these two variants will provide drivers with distinctive aesthetics to enhance one of the most off-road capable trucks available.

“The Colorado ZR2 Midnight and Dusk Edition models offer customers even more personalization choices from the only company with three distinct trucks: midsize, full-size and full-size heavy-duty,” said Jim Campbell, U.S. vice president, Truck Strategy, Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. “Chevrolet offers more choices because the truck market is too diverse for a ‘one size fits most’ strategy.”

The Midnight gets an all-black exterior, black bowtie emblems, 17-inch five-spoke black accessory wheels, and a black sport bar with off-road LED lighting and ZR2 logos on the sail panels. So, in short, it’s got black on it. The Dusk, on the other hand, will offer all of the black aesthetic touches with the option to choose any exterior color.

The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is distinguished by a two-inch-taller ride height and a 3.5-inch-wider track, as well as modified bumpers and a distinctive grille and hood. To aid in off-roading capabilities, the ZR2 comes standard with an electronic-locking front and rear differential, aluminum skidplate, Autotrac transfer plate, and off-road-ready suspension with cast-iron control arms and Multimatic DSSV dampers.

Both the ZR2 Midnight Edition and Dusk Edition packages will be available this month for $3,425.
