Holden will at long-last bring its localized version of the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox to market in December, and to stir up anticipation just a little bit more, it’s detailed what drivers can expect from each trim and how much they’ll be paying for them.

The 2018 Holden Equinox will be available in six iterations: the LS MT (manual transmission), which starts at $27,990 AUD; the LS AT (automatic transmission), which starts at $29,990 AUD; the LS+, available starting at $32,990 AUD; the LT, starting at $36,990 AUD; the LTZ, which starts at $39,990; and the LTZ-V, which starts at $46,290. AWD is available for the LTZ for an additional $4,300 AUD, and a late-availability and as-yet-unpriced diesel engine option will be offered for all trims from the LS AT up.

“Equinox is a game-changer for Holden and will undoubtedly battle it out at the top of the mid-size SUV segment,” said Holden’s Executive Director, Sales, Michael Filazzola. “We’ve got premium features like a dual-panel panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel and safety alert drivers’ seat that gives a small vibration to warn drivers of potential hazards. Not to mention Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a rear-view camera as standard across the range.”

At base, the Equinox LS will be standard with Holden MyLink infotainment with seven-inch touchscreen display, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear view camera and rear park assist, and automatic headlamps with LED daytime running lamps. The LS and LS+ are standard with a 1.5-liter turbo ECOTEC; every trim from the LT upward is standard with the 2.0-liter turbo mated to a nine-speed automatic.
