GM Thailand announced on Thursday that Piyanuch Chaturaphat has been named the director of Sales and Network for Chevrolet Sales Thailand. Piyanuch’s appointment goes into effect on February 16th.

Piyanuch succeeds former director of Sales and Network Nataporn Jiramahapoka, who has opted to leave General Motors Thailand. In her role, Piyanuch will oversee Chevy brand sales and dealer operations in Thailand and report directly to GM Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand Managing Director Wail A. Farghaly.

“We are pleased to have Khun Piyanuch joining our GM Thailand Leadership team,” said Farghaly. “She has extensive experience in automotive sales, network development, sales training, customer management, and marketing. Her expertise will help us to continue growing the Chevrolet brand while strengthening our dealership facilities in the all-important Thai market.”

“I want to thank Khun Nataporn for her significant contribution to Chevrolet Sales Thailand during a challenging time for our entire industry,” Farghaly added. “On behalf of GM, I wish her success in her future endeavors.”

Piyanuch previously served as the general manager of Sales for Nissan Motor Company, a role she had held since July 2015. Prior to that, she was Nissan’s GM of Sales Operation Management and GM of Customer Management and Training.

Before joining Nissan, she worked as the senior manager of Sales Training for Mercedes-Benz, a role she took after beginning her career as Auto Technic Company’s Manager of Marketing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Chulalongkorn University.
