Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

PlugShare App

PlugShare is a free app which allows you to find and share information about electric vehicle charging stations. The app covers more than 400,000 charging stations across the nation and includes all major networks: ChargePoint, Blink, SemaCharge, and GE WattStation.

The convenient app allows users to not only locate electric charging stations, but also track station availability in real time, set alerts for when stations become available, and even allows you to pay for charging with Pay With PlugShare.

Like any online community, it gets better and more accurate with more contributors. You’re encouraged to share reviews, tips, and photos of stations you visit and add new stations as you find them.

The interactive maps are easy-to-use and specific charging station information such as address, phone number, and hours are just a convenient click away. Other features include a ‘Charge Session’ screen which keeps track of the progress of your vehicle as it charges and an alert screen to notify you of stations within a certain distance.

The app is simple enough to use on-the-go, and provides all the information you need to know before you arrive. Considering PlugShare is free and incredibly informative, we’d say this app is worth the download.
