Porsche enthusiasts will be happy to hear that the German automaker will bring three new vehicles to the upcoming New York International Auto Show.

The three latest Porsche models that will be showcased in New York from March 25th to April 3rd are the fresh new 911 R, 718 Boxster, and the all-new four-cylinder base version of the popular Macan SUV.

The innovative 911 R is the lightest 911 model available with a curb weight of 3,021 pounds. To achieve that low weight, the 911 R makes use of carbon fiber front fenders. Porsche engineers also used that material to create the front luggage compartment lid. In addition, the roof of the new 911 R is made out of magnesium.

Underneath the hood the 911 R is a naturally aspirated flat-six engine that produces 500 horsepower and 338 lb-ft of torque. This powerful new Porsche can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.7 seconds and is capable of a top track speed of 200 mph. Production of the new 911 R will be limited to a rather unsurprising number of just 911 units. Also, just in case you were wondering, the R stands for racing.

Porsche will also be displaying the new 718 Boxster in New York. The 718 Boxster features an updated exterior design that comes complete with newly styled B-Xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The 718 Boxster also features the Porsche Communication Management system with audio interfaces and cellphone preparation.

Two engines options are available for the new 718 Boxster. The regular 718 Boxster is outfitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 300 horsepower, while the more expensive 718 Boxster S utilizes a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder good for 350 horsepower. When equipped with the available Sports Chrono Package and PDK transmission, the 718 Boxster S is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and can hit a top track speed of 177 mph.

The third new vehicle Porsche is scheduled to bring to New York is the base model Macan SUV. This new Macan will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder motor rated at 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Although it’s considered an SUV, this Porsche can still hit a top speed of 142 mph and goes from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 6.2 seconds. The base model Macan carries a starting MSRP of $47,500 and yields an EPA-estimated 22 mpg combined.

All three new Porsche models are already available for order and will arrive at dealerships later this summer. The 718 Boxster features a starting MSRP of $56,000, while the 911 R carries a starting MSRP of $184,900.
