Porsche also ranked highest among all nameplates in the 2015 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study

Coming in first place just doesn’t get old for Porsche.

For the 11th straight year, Porsche was rated highest among nameplates in the J.D. Power APEAL Awards. The APEAL awards are based on the results of surveys that consumers fill out after owning a new vehicle for 90 days. Consumers are asked questions regarding their satisfaction with their vehicle’s exterior and interior styling, heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC), engine/transmission, seats, fuel economy, driving dynamics, storage and space, audio/communication/entertainment/navigation (ACEN), and visibility and safety.

More than 84,000 US citizens that either bought or leased a new vehicle in 2014 filled out surveys for the study. Out a possible 1,000 points, Porsche received 874, which was more than 30 points better than its nearest competitor and more than 150 points higher than the industry average.
