Pricing Announced for 2017 Nissan Altima
The 2017 Nissan Altima is now on sale at Nissan dealerships, which means we finally know this vehicle’s MSRP numbers. To get behind the wheel of one of Nissan’s staple models, you need to save at least $22,500 for the base trim level. If that number sounds familiar, it’s because that is also the starting MSRP for the previous model year, which was a major redesign.
Shoppers considering the 2017 Nissan Altima should know that it’s available in seven trim levels for every style of driver. This trim lineup includes the Altima SR, which was introduced with the model refresh to give drivers a sportier option when shopping for a vehicle. The highest trim level, the Altima 3.5 SL, starts at $32,690, a very reasonable price for the technology and features under the new Altima’s sculpted exterior.
When the new Nissan Altima was unveiled for the 2016, it was remarked how much the resculpted model resembled a smaller Nissan Maxima, which had also undergone a dramatic transformation for the 2016 model year. That’s because it utilizes Nissan’s “Energetic Flow” exterior styling, which then turns into the “Gliding Wing” interior design. The car also has class-leading standard fuel economy of 39 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with the 2.5-liter engine, according to EPA estimates.
It doesn’t seem as if there are any changes to the 2017 model from the last model year, but given the modifications going in to 2016 year, that’s not surprising. The Nissan Altima leads the Nissan lineup in 2016 sales, and we have a feeling that customers will continue to enjoy the 2017 model.
