Publicis Worldwide Joins with Cadillac
Today, Cadillac announced that Publicis Worldwide would become the brand’s global creative agency of record. The appointment is effective immediately.
Publicis Worldwide is the largest creative agency in the Publicis Groupe network. The agency will be taking over Lowe and Partners, which has served as Cadillac’s creative and strategic agency of record since last year.
“We sincerely appreciate the dedication and service the Lowe team has brought to our brand,” said Uwe Ellinghaus, the Chief Marketing Officer for Cadillac. “The agency has aided Cadillac in a time of transition and contributed significantly to the development of its brand positioning.”
Publicis will provide Cadillac with a top-notch team that includes “key managers” from the agency. They will take the lead on the account going forward.
“For us, this appointment is an honor and a privilege,” remarked Arthur Sadoun, the CEO of Publicis Worldwide. “We will work passionately with the client leadership team to strengthen the power of the Cadillac brand.”
Ellinghaus concluded, “This appointment is designed to accelerate the global expansion and elevation of Cadillac into a truly global luxury brand. We have spent much of this year refocusing on the core values of our brand. Adding Publicis Worldwide to our team —with its undisputed expertise in luxury brand building — will further our progress globally.”
