Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Among 10 Most Fuel-Efficient Luxury Cars
The Infiniti Q50 Hybrid has been announced as part of Kelley Blue Book’s Ten Most Fuel-Efficient Luxury Cars for 2014 list. The Q50 Hybrid is a balanced fusion of performance and efficiency, generating 360 horsepower while returning an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 29 mpg city and 36 mpg highway.
“With its V6 engine and electric motor generating a combined 360 horsepower, the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid is the most powerful hybrid on this list,” KBB’s list states. “A bona fide performance sedan with economy-car fuel economy, the gas-electric version of the Infiniti Q50 is a hybrid vehicle on a couple levels.”
The Infiniti Q50 Hybrid comes in four different models: Premium, Premium AWD, Q50S Hybrid, and Q50S Hyrbid AWD. All are powered in part by the 360-horsepower-generating 3.5-liter V6, which allows 0-60 mph acceleration as quick as 4.9 seconds.
Standard features on the 2014 Q50 Hybrid include 17” alloy wheels, Direct Adaptive Steering, leather-appointed seating, HomeLink® Universal Transceiver, Infiniti Intelligent Key, RearView Monitor, Infiniti InTuition™, Anti-Lock Braking System, and Bose® 14-speaker Premium Audio.
Since its debut, the Q50 has been named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+, earned a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 5-Star overall safety rating, and nominated as a contender for 2014 World Car of the Year.
