At least year’s SEMA Show, the Hyundai Genesis was a major player, arriving as a 1,000-horsepower BTR-tuned Coupe and a supercharged AR550 Genesis from ARK Performance.

For the 2015 SEMA tuning exhibition in California, ARK Performance is teaming up with Hyundai again to deliver a new Genesis Coupe. The race-inspired Solus Genesis Coupe uses ARK’s wide body kit and Hyundai’s 4.0-liter Lambda V6 engine. This performance-oriented model is sponsored by Quaker State and Hyundai Assurance Car Care Express, and is meant to rival machines from rival performance brands BMW and Lexus.

Tuning Information on ARK’s Hyundai Genesis Coupe

In preparation for November’s SEMA convention, ARK did a lot of work on this Coupe, including adding a Brian Crower 4.0-liter Stroker Kit, Custom Rotrex Supercharger System, special pistons and injectors, ARK Performance pipes, Lap3 Korea Custom ECU Tuning, and plenty more. This simple Korean car has been transformed into a serious racing machine.

“Hyundai’s 3.8-liter engine is strong enough to handle all the extra power we’re now developing,” explained Kevin Bentley, Marketing and Sales Manager of ARK Performance, “and the chassis is well balanced and easy to modify, allowing us to create this lowered, aggressive stance while maintaining that clean look we’re going for.”

Other modifications received by the special Genesis include…

  • Chassis modifications, including Nitto NT05 Tires, ARK Performance DT-P Coilover Suspension Kit, and ARK Performance Strut Tower Brace
  • Exterior modifications, including bumper extensions, Ad’ro/ARK “Solus” Wide Body Kit, rear trunk spoiler, fenders, and side skirts
  • Interior modifications, including AiM Sports MXG Digital Color Display, threaded shifter, custom dash and inserts, and PUNCH Premium Speaker System

Overall, this Hyundai Genesis sounds like a dream come true.
